From November 6th to 9th, 2026, Frame the Balkans invites you to an intimate Couple & Family Photography Workshop and Retreat in Kosovo, hosted together with special guest Larissa Brumm.
This experience is designed for photographers who want to move beyond stiff posing and learn how to capture honest, emotional moments between couples and families. The focus is on connection, trust, observation, and creating space for real emotions to unfold naturally.
Larissa Brumm is a couple and family photographer known for her calm presence and timeless, authentic visual language. Throughout the experience, she will share her personal approach to working with families and couples — from building trust to gently guiding people without interrupting genuine moments.
Through theoretical and practical sessions, you will learn how to see light differently, read human interaction, guide without over-directing, and create photographs that feel natural, emotional, and true to the people in front of your camera.
Carefully produced shoots across Kosovo provide different environments and storytelling opportunities while Frame the Balkans handles the production and logistics, leaving you free to concentrate on creating, learning, and experimenting.
This is not a high-pressure workshop built around producing the same image as everyone else. It is a slower, intentional experience for photographers who value depth, emotion, storytelling, and human connection.
The goal is simple: leave Kosovo with stronger work, a deeper understanding of connection-led photography, and an approach you can carry into your own couple and family sessions.

Photographers who want to move beyond posing and capture genuine connection between people.
Those who care more about feeling and honesty than perfection and trends.
Creatives who want to expand into couple and family work without losing depth and storytelling.
Photographers who prefer guiding gently rather than directing heavily.
Those who want to understand human interaction, body language, and natural movement.
Professionals who value depth, reflection, and intention over fast, high-pressure workshops.
Authentic interactions designed to allow genuine emotion to unfold naturally.
Classroom-style sessions with Larissa combined with structured outdoor shoots.
Learn how to guide gently without interrupting real connection.
Understanding how to work with soft light, real environments, and honest framing.
A smaller group environment that allows conversation, feedback, and reflection.
No pressure, no rush — just space to observe, create, and grow.

His focus is on creating the right conditions for photographers, videographers, and creatives to concentrate fully on their work—removing friction, distractions, and unnecessary pressure—so that each retreat feels professionally organized and creatively inspiring.
